It happened because the gave her body to Irumyiui as all the inhabitants of the city did as well. It was when they escaped away from the collapsing city that the Abyss' forcefield or miasma or blood, however you call it, reached them.

@Glass Reflections I know Last Exile isn't perfect but I genuinely believe that despite some of it's flaws, it's a pretty good Anime overall. A special one at that. You don't get Anime like Last Exile often. I personally love Last Exile alot.

On a late rainy night in the spring of 2003, I found Cowboy Bebop on the Adultswim anime lineup, along with Inuyasha, Trigun, Big-O, Lupin the 3rd, and The Venture Bros. Having grown up watching reruns of Speed Racer, Battle of the Planets, and also Voltron, Cowboy Bebop, and the others felt familiar and yet very different. My tastes in entertainment changed DRASTICALLY after that night. And even after all of these years, Cowboy Bebop is still my favorite anime and is arguably the greatest piece of media I've ever experienced. See you space cowboy...

Land of the Lustrous would have been worse in 2d. THey didn't use 3d animation as a crutch, they used it as a tool. Its easier to get interesting angles during action, and they make the most of that.

Well, the season ended as you'd hoped it would, pumping the brakes at the end of the mage exam arc without any disappointment. Fingers crossed, SO MANY FINGERS CROSSED, that there is a season 2 and that it's still in Madhouse hands. Please please please I cannot take another One Punch Man downfall.

try as I may I cannot like this series nor can I the entire Seed series of films and shows. they seem like they are trying so hard to make them accessible, nobody WANTS access. These shows exist to sell models and check boxes. "Gundam" is the UC alone and everything else is "disney starwars"

I hate it because there's too much yapping. A regural mystery show would start with a hypothesis, investagting, and if it's an action show it would have an epic fight scene as well where they beat the enemy with the info they gathered. But no, they just pull info out of their ass because the whole shnick is that they solve mysteries with lies instead. People say it wasn't ment to be a mystery. Still doesn't negate the fact that it's one big ass yap fest.

Loved the vid, I never looked at Toys in the Attic like that before. Also, you almost made me cry at how perfectly you nailed Faye's arc. Here's a couple things I'd like to offer. 1) I feel Hard Luck Woman is absolutely an Ed episode. We find out the reason she ferried the Bebop was to help her find her dad, and she leaves with Ein at the end. Her departure leaves a big hole in Spike and Jet and they honor her with the pinwheel, representing a child who's left home. That episode is equally belongs to her and Faye. 2) I can't tell if you're making a Netflix joke about the syndicate code names thing 😅 3) I strongly believe the first 5 episode must be watched in order. The pay off of finding out more about what we see in those first few moments of session 1 is exactly what Cowboy Bebop is. Sessions 1 to 5 are book ends and represent the show in a microcosm. This is how the story is going to be told, so you're either are in or not. 4) It's heavily implied, especially in the ending credits and flashbacks that Julia and Viscious were an item, Spike and Julia started seeing each other and left Viscious "out of the loop". The comrade betray comes back in Jupiter Jazz 2 as well. Theres a line from the sub that's left out in Jupiter Jazz 1 that's spells it out. 5) Spikes eyes have everything to do with the Le Fou fight. Spike's constantly almost dying is like a cat with nine lives. Le Fou's weakness is a Clockwork Orange like fear of cats. So Le Fou sees the inner cat in Spike and he temporarily drops his guard. Spike's keen eyesight notices and he strikes

This didn't age very well, even if he, as a creator, did. The story was amazing!!

buuuuuuut the good news is we are getting a second season :D

I don’t get the hype. this season was devoid of any real exploration of the abyss and it was super slow. they didn’t have to spend the whole season in the city

Season 2 Solo leveling

Simple gripe on the "who is the superior intellect" question: Yes, Light has an ace in the hole via the death note's supernatural powers. BUT, he is also compelled to continually murder people. Without the death note, continually murdering people on a large scale would be absolutely impossible. The entire premise of the story is that Light gets an incredible evil tool to accomplish incredibly evil things that would otherwise be fantasy. That said, I still think L is smarter.

Ok well there’s a season 2 confirmed now so what’s the excuse for not recommending this series exactly, that people have to wait for more? Saying that you DON’T recommend Wind Breaker when you DO recommend Kaiju #8 when they’re in identical situations in terms of adaptations is one of the biggest pieces of nonsense I have ever seen from this channel, and yes I’m upset cuz I expect better…

Season 2 has just been announced so you need not worry about it being a read the manga ending or anything like that :)
